The Aroostook Rising County-wide Ambassador Program is committed to ensuring that every new resident, visitor, and tourist feels at home right from the start.
From Northern to Southern Aroostook, our Ambassador Chapters connect newcomers with residents who share similar interests and backgrounds, offering a personalized introduction to our vibrant community. Beyond the initial handshake, our ambassadors have a strong network and deep knowledge of the area. They are prepared to answer questions, share experiences, and facilitate a seamless transition into our community.

Central Aroostook Community Connectors
The Central Aroostook Community Connectors was created in partnership with the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce and the Aroostook Partnership. Our friendly Connectors help newcomers feel right at home by connecting them to resources and welcoming them into the community. We support newcomers to Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Easton and many other communities in Central Aroostook.

Gateway Ambassadors
The Gateway Ambassadors program was created to positively promote the Greater Houlton area as a great place to live and work. Formed as a group of energetic community members, the Ambassadors go out and champion the area while acting as a bridge to newcomers — helping connect them with the resources and information needed to fully enjoy what the region has to offer.
